Double bassist and composer Edgar Meyer joins the Dover Quartet for a program built around his own chamber music, framed by Mozart and Mendelssohn. Meyer’s Quintet for Strings and Two Duets for Cello and Bass sit alongside Mozart’s Divertimento in D major, K. 136, and Mendelssohn’s Quartet No. 6 in F minor, Op. 80 — pairing Meyer’s genre-crossing voice with two pillars of the string repertoire.
