Position Overview
The Booking Agent is responsible for generating revenue and advancing the touring activity of MKI Artists’ roster through strategic sales, relationship management, and market development. The Agent is expected to be part of a team that works with sustained urgency and intensity, maintaining rapid follow-up and consistent forward motion across all booking activity.
This role combines strategic thinking, business development, relationship management, and disciplined execution to create meaningful opportunities for artists and sustained growth for the agency. The Booking Agent leads the full booking lifecycle from prospecting through contract execution and uses data, accountability, and consistent communication to maintain a predictable, transparent pipeline. Equally important, the Booking Agent is encouraged to be creative in maximizing the artistic potential of MKI’s roster.
The Agent is expected to participate actively in MKI’s technology-forward culture, using Salesforce, data, AI-supported tools, and evolving workflows to improve sales execution, communication, and accountability.
Success in this role requires knowledge of classical music along with strong communication skills, excellent judgment, a collaborative mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- Professional experience in classical music arts administration, booking, presenting, orchestra administration, producing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in sales, business development, or relationship management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Excellent negotiation skills and sound professional judgment.
- Experience working with CRM systems and a high level of comfort learning new technologies.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a highly collaborative team environment.
- A growth mindset, intellectual curiosity, and a positive approach to trying new things.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this full-time position is $70,000–$80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
