Part of the Verona Quartet's Global Storybook, Neverland Revisited is a theatrical concert for children of all ages, from 3 to 103. J. M. Barrie's Peter Pan lies at the heart of a brand-new work for string quartet and narrator by Richard Birchall, performed by the Verona Quartet with actor Clara Steeves or a narrator from the presenter's own community. Music and narration bring Neverland to life, from the mischief of the Lost Boys and the magic of Tinker Bell to the menace of Captain Hook, with the musicians playing every part and interactive moments that adapt to each hall. The 50-minute program opens with the Canzonetta from the quartet's new Mendelssohn album. Made for families, compelling for adults. Neverland Revisited is a working title.
