Rachel Barton Pine and harpsichordist Jory Vinikour, both celebrated Bach interpreters and lifelong friends, complement baroque sonatas by Bach and Handel with several of their favorite 20th-century works. The program pairs them with Schnittke's witty deconstruction of baroque dances, a joyful suite by Adolphus Hailstork, a work by Ligeti, and a sonata by Samuel Adler.
