A string ensemble led from the piano by Simone Dinnerstein, its name a portmanteau of "Baroque" and "Brooklyn," her home borough. Drawing on theater-influenced rehearsal practice, the group performs in a semi-circle around the piano with parts rearranged by Dinnerstein to emphasize inner voices and imitative dialogue. The ensemble recorded the 2025 album Complicité, an all-Bach program featuring mezzo-soprano Jennifer Johnson Cano and oboist Peggy Pearson.
