Ying Quartet | PUSH Physical Theatre

The Grammy Award-winning Ying Quartet and PUSH Physical Theatre recently teamed up to perform back-to-back sold-out performances combining music, movement, dance, acrobatics, and more. The artistry of the Quartet’s performance dovetails beautifully with the choreography and stories PUSH has created in their program, Creative Collision. The collaboration features works ranging from Haydn to Theofanidis, and Dvořák to Hugo Wolf. We have some highlights from those first performances here.

The next big adventure in storytelling: a new collaboration between PUSH Physical Theatre and the Grammy-winning Ying Quartet. PUSH’s fusion of acting, acrobatics, and dance which defies categorization, combined with one of the world’s best-loved string quartets challenge the typical form of collaboration to produce a boundary-breaking celebration of the creative spirit.
